Live Event Sharing - Lap Notification

Does anyone have problems with Live Event Sharing lap notifications? My new Garmin 245 music has been inconsistent. Start/stop works, but lap notifications are spotty at best, but lately nonexistent. Appreciate help/insights.

Not sure what you mean by Live Event Sharing. I am not aware of any feature of that name in Garmin Connect Mobile. The closest to it, is the Live Track, but once again I am not aware of any option for sending lap notifications in Live Track. Can you specify closer what exactly you mean, and post a screenshot of the settings for the feature you reffer to?

Hi Trux, thanks for the response. I believe this is functionality is only available with droids. Appreciate any insights!

I am actually on an Android, but it looks like it is a relatively new feature available to ony a limited number of Garmin models. I found a video explaining it at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FDABQ7J6PvM

Well, since my watch is apparently not supported, I cannot realy assist you, but if the notifications do not pass through, then it could mean some Bluetooth connectivity problems. Have a look at the phone when you complete the lap, and check whether the Steps and Heart Rate are still being updated live, on the MyDay screen of the Garmin Connect Mobile app. If they are not, you'll need to troubleshoot the BT connection (possibly dropped due to battery optimizing features of your phone, or something similar).
