My steps for the past 10 days suddenly can not be viewed. Garmin Instinct user. If you view the montly step records, data for march 23-april 8 is available. How can this be resolved?

  • Check the Sync Audit for sync errors in te past week, it may reveal the reason. There might be a corrupted file, or simply the sync did not work because of a dropped connection. The question is why you did not try doing something with it immediately, not sure whether the data can be saved now. Try syncing over the USB cable and Garmin Express.

Sync Audit is available on Garmin Connet Mobile, in the Menu » Setting » Device Sync Audit (at the very botom), and you can navigate among the individual audits with the help of the arrow butoon at the bottom.

Thanks for the information. I checked the sync audit and it shows successful sync.

I noticed that the watch does not have a record of my steps so its reflecting the same information in the Connect app. I know that it is syncing well for the past days, it was only on Saturday that the record was gone. I have another app that tracks if I reached more than 12500 steps and it recorded last Thursday.

Any additional suggestion on what I should do?

Yes - check out the sync audit for the Saturday, when you missed the data.
