Is it possible to change the data displayed on the circles in activity summary, by activity type?

  • Yes, it is. Use the option "Edit Activity" in the menu (under the triple dot symbol up right) on the screen

Hi. This didn't work, but perhaps I wasn't clear stating my issue. Ediing the activity allows me to change the values of the variables, but does not allow the circles to display difrent variable and their respective data values. For example, in cardio activities I'd like to see HR data instead of distance in the yellow circle, as distance is irrelevant for me in that situation... Is this possible?

You cannot edit the layout, but each activity category has a different layout. I do not know why there is the distance at the Cardio category, but if you change it for example to Strength, Yoga, (or other similar activities), the layout will indeed show HR, and no distance. You can edit the category retrospectively (again through Edit Activity), or by choosing a different activity type when starting the activity on your watch (or creating a custom acitivity based on a profile matching your needs).

You could have done that with Cardio until recently, but after the GCM update to 4.29 it doesn't work ... see this topic: forums.garmin.com/.../no-exercise-list-in-the-cardio-training-summary
