Steps not counted properly

Yesterday I ran ~8к yet my Garmin Venu counted 4100 steps only. Strangely enough for days with 10k runs i had over 10k steps. Could you please double check? Thank you very much.

We cannot, we are just users, like you, and we do not have any access to your device, or to your account. However, if you want that we help you, you have to tell at least whether you miss the steps on the watch, or in Garmin Connect only.
