any difficulties known about connecting to Honor 8 phones

Hi,

I am thinking of buying a Garmin watch - I have an Honor smartphone, and Honor I think is a subsidy of Huawei or so and has similar phones.

Is there any experience with connecting Garmin watch to Honor phones ?
