Unless there's a bug in the Asian version (which I presume you use), you should be able to see the map associated with your activity. I always see the map on mine (North America).
The only time I did not see the map is with my old FR305 when the fit file of a completed activity became corrupted. It's never happened with my newer watches. I'm sure the title of the activity would be correct if the map was shown. On the other hand, I have had one crash where my watch restarted in the middle of an activity and everything including the stats were lost.
If the map appears from your next activity that is what probably happened. There is a long thread in the forum history somewhere about people repairing corrupted fit files.
The most likely reason is that the GPS was not active because your ephemeris data file expired or is damaged. Connect the watch with USB cable to the computer, and check for updates with Garmin Express. You need doing it regularly - GPS cannot work reliably and quickly without fresh ephemeris data.
