Synch runs from Garmin Connect to Nike Run Club?

I've linked the apps in both the Garmin Connect (android app) and the NRC app (also android), the latter showing a 'linked' graphic with a green tick and the two app symbols. But no runs are appearing in the Nike app, only the Garmin app. Apologies if this is a repeat post, but my search only found answers 3+ years old.

Unfortunately not yet. There's a NRC article saying to simply swipe down to refresh the Activities, but that doesn't work for me. I've also tried signing out and back into both accounts. Annoying because it would be cool if it worked! I might give NRC support a ring and see what they say.

Yeah, a lot of what I'm reading says that Nike was most helpful and that they were really responsive on Twitter, so I may give that a try.

So I did contact Nike through Twitter and they responded within minutes.

They didn’t understand why some of my runs weren’t syncing, but they added them for me so that those runs would show up on my challenges, and said to let them know if I had this problem again.

I figured it out!

If you select walk on your Garmin watch, the data for that walk will not sync.

BUT

If you select run, it will sync the data.

I guess the NRC app doesn't recognize the walk function.

What about old runs which I have on my garmin account, is there any option to transfer them to NRC+ ?

i have used nike running club app for 2 years now but recently i bought a garmin forerunner 235. So now i wonder if theres a way to sync all my previous runs, personal records and so on, on garmin connect like nike running club allows you to sync garmin runs to their app??
