Data uploads onto the the wrong device despite not being paired to it.

Some of my activities end up downloading on my wifes Garmin connect profile instead of mine. This happens when we finish an activity around together , then the data connects to her phone (faster than mine).. My wife has a Forerunner 735XT which her phone is paired to. I have a Forerunner 945 which my phone is paired to. My wifes phone is not paired to my device. How can this happen? How do we stop this? and how do I retrieve the data onto me Garmin connect profile? I can see that activities are still in my watch history.. how can I get them on to Garmin connect.?

Thanks for responding so quickly . Indeed my wife and I have separate accounts on our phones and in Garmin Connect

I am unable to install Garmin Connect as I am require to install . NET Framework…

Make sure you have separate Garmin Connect accounts. On your phones as well as Garmin Connect Web. https://connect.garmin.com

Hook up your device via USB to your computer then check using Garmin Express to sync your watch to Garmin Connect Web. You should see the correct device that is syncing to the correct account. Click on your device >> Tools & Content. On that page you'll see the "Registered to:," which will be the email address used to login to Garmin Connect, as well as the device and serial number associated with the account. Do this for each watch to verify they are both syncing with the correct accounts, which should be different for you and your wife.

I am unable to install Garmin Connect as I am require to install . NET Framework which does not install on my computer. It is somehow blocked.

Any further tips as to how I can a) stop this from happening and b) retrieve the data from my history. If I was able to connect my watch through USB would that work?

I believe getting your devices to sync with USB and Garmin Express would help get things sorted. Check the Garmin Express Windows forum for information regarding similar issues with .Net Framework. Here are 2 threads that might be helpful:
