Its more that week I cant upload data from watch to mobile app or throu cable to PC express app

Last upload is from sunday 15th if march.  it wont show steps, heart rate, sleep, stress, nothing on "My day" ... I off/on watch and it does not count steps. One number was freezed on my face all the time from sunday or monda. , stress, heart rate is still counting all right, but not uploading data to mobile at all - I can see history on watch but I cant upload it anywhere by any means (syncyng does not trigger any error).  I could try Default setting, but I will lose 8 days of data. Can I somehow get it from watch to app/server manually?

Or is there known problem and someone works on it? If no, I could just try to manually upload it and factory /default setting for me again :)

  • The data of activities is on the watch in the folder //GARMIN/Activities, you can import them manually by dropping them on the import page. Daily steps, HR, sleep and other data is in several other folders, but I am not sure whether you can import them all manually in the same way as the activities.

You should also check the Sync Audit in Garmin Connect Mobile on your phone (Menu » Settings » Device Sync Audit - at the very bottom). It could reveal the reason why the watch did not sync. (for example a corrupted FIT file, or perhaps insufficient or dammaged storage could be the culprit).

  • I am syncing today 10 times already.

Audit tells me all is successful (No item to process).

You might be right with something damaged.. Its sad though. I have them from january..

  • Try tapping the arrow left button at the bottom, if the previous audits do not show some errors

  • And if you recorded some activities, try importing the fit files from //GARMIN/Activities to GC Web manually, to see if it works, and whether there is not a dammaged one among them.

  • I see, one time I removed the watch from cable too soon by mistake, or something happened.

After this one all look the same (like the first I posted above) and the one from tuesday is first one not visible on garmin app/web. So its somehow damaged from that point on.

  • Well, one possibility would be making a master reset of the watch, but you would lose all the data that was not synced. So before doing the master reset you better save at least the activity files, or better yet the entire content of the watch storage.

But before doing the master reset, you should first try doing just the soft reset, or stopping and restarting the watch, if you did not try it yet - it could perhpas help too. Look up the key combination in your user manual for both types of reset - it varies from model to model.

  • I tried to upload any file I could find on watch storage. Not possible to upload, but it was not in activity folder, so I am not surprised.

Itried just turn off and on the watch and it didnt work. I will then use hard reset and see. I suppose it will work well.

Thanks for your patience and time Slight smile

  • It happened again after 6 days (that 3 days nothing..) , so I Factory reset, deleted upload history at garmin connect website, removed device from everywhere, reseted again to be sure.. And than paired to mobile/web and set most apps I had at IQ store. Just didnt go for "battery meter" again, becouse its last thing I added before all went wrong. Works for today.. Will upload the progress.

Also I will check mobile, becouse there might be problem with free memory size, but probably not cousing this kind of trouble..

  • I tried to create new account and it happened again. I will bring it for servis (through Alza - reklamace). It took me a lot of time because of covid and all the other issues in life :) I hope I will get maybe old after someoenelse, but functional watches again :)
