Bmr?

hello, I noticed an overestimation of calories at rest, it gives me 2100 calories of a weight on a weight of 77 kg, when instead it should be 77x24 = 1848 approximately.
What is this overestimation due to?
  • Rest Calories in Garmin Connect are not the BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate), but the RMR (Resting Metabolic Rate). Additionally, the value may also include the NEAT Calories (Non-Exercise Activity Thermogenesis) based on the Activtiy Class in your User Settings.
