Impossible to pair my Forerunner 235

I would like to pair my Forerunner 235 to my android smartphone using Garmin Connect application. 

However, when I try to do the pair procedure on the mobile phone, I have to select the model of my watch but there is no Garmin Forerunner watch, only foreathlete. I then try to do the procedure by selecting foreathlete 235J in the list because it seems to be the same as my Forerunner 235 but it does not work and the smartphone does not detect my forerunner235... I tryed several times and did everything like restarting the phone, the watch, on/off Bluetooth, reset the app...etc.

How can I pair my forerunner 235 with my smartphone when the application does not even propose this model ?

    In the Connect mobile app go to Settings >> Profile and Privacy >> Manage Garmin Account >> Account Details

    What does it say for "Location"?

    Thank you. I changed my location to a different country and so the option Forerunner 235 appeared in the application for the pairing procedure. I was then able to pair my device and I then restored the previous location.
