Km in app, miles in whatch

Suddenly I have everything in miles in garmin forrunner 45 but in app is everything ok in km...and I don t know how to change it in km also in watch..please help me.
I had the same issue and wanted KM on both watch and in App (was recording on watch in miles and then showing km in app). I checked setting on my app - yep, set to Metric. Tried turning watch off and syncing... didn’t fix it...
I finally worked out that I needed to go to settings on the actual watch - go to Settings, System, Units.
