How do I change pool length from meters to feet? I have changed it 7 times, saved it, and it comes right back as meters.
Well, you did not tell us where you changed it. There are several places where you can set the units - the watch System Settings, the Garmin Connect Web settings, and the Pool Swim Activity Settings. The size of the pool is actually independent - you can use metric units as watch system units, while still setting the pool size in feet (at least, it is so with my Garmin Instinct, so I assume it is the same case for other Garmin watches supporting swimming).
So if the above mentioned links do not help you to set the units you wish, please describe the steps you did, and please post some screenshots demonstrating the outcome.
