Huawei p30 pro update no notifications on garmin vivoactive 4s

Updated huawei p30 pro this monorng to emui 10 now not getting notifications on garmin vivoactive 4s, have tried battery notifications etc on both phone and watch still no joy, any ideas? Do I need to plug into computer? Garmin software up to date

Verify that you really have Garmin Connect Mobile v4.71.1, and not just the v4.71 (you can see it in Settings of the app). Then try the following troubleshooting tips:
