I completed an 11 week 5km training plan with no technological or software problems but on completion it immediately disappeared from my Connect app and now I have no record of the training plan. Is this what is supposed to happen?

Edit: I just had a look, and on GC Mobile, the completed plans are present too - just scroll down to the bottom of the Training Plans screen and tap the button Completed Plans
Thanks! I had a look on-line and found a page which said I had completed the plan but when I tried to sign up for the next plan the system wouldn't let me as the recently completed plan was still active. I'll wait a couple of days and try again. Thanks again - the link you provided was very useful.
It happened to me today , that’s why I’m here because I Googled the issue and found your same interrogation, and I fixed the bug by logging to my garmin connect website on the link provided by trux , disabling the phone connection from the setting of my Fenix5 garmin watch, powering it off and waiting a while and powering it on again, syncing it with my garmin connect app on my iPhone and WOW
it’s now showing on my gc app
