I have a FR 245 watch. I use it for all my exercises except my indoor bike rides because I use trainer road. I've link accounts (including strava) so my heart rate power distance all get input into Garmin connect. my only issue is i get training effect for all workouts recorded with my watch except my indoor bikes (recorded with trainer road) uploaded successfully with all data into Garmin connect. question: can garmin conmect assign training effect on imported workouts????

this is really not normal, I do my indoor session with a Tacx bike and the garmin 945 watch, at this price everything should be displayed and compatible, we shouldn't even need to import, shameful !!
What I do , I make à virtual activity, really started on my watch, I have 2 activities but all the informations (Training effect, Vo2 too....)
In garmin stats I put doublon unautorised, to have real Workouts time by week.
but really angry to have to do that 
I have try to contact FirstBeat too, we will see What they are thinking about that, it’s a real desagrement in utilsation for indoor activities, maybe other device could have all informations, others like Polar etc.
no mater if it’s not called Training Effect... :)
People must know that ....I’m thinking to do a YouTube video speaking about this désagrement maybe people can chose to not buy garmin device if this option is important for them. ( like for me! )
I wait for garmin and firstbeat answers , if they can’t do anything I will do this video to explain to people the problem. Ah this price level, it’s Just not possible to accept
