My new cycling activities are gone after saving in Garmin Connect !

This is the second time in a row, I thought first time I did something by mistake, but not !

So I finish my indoor training on my Edge 1030, save the activity on the 1030, on my Android phone I see notification for "New activity", I select it, GC opens, I can see the activity, then edit the activity (rename it), save it, exist GC and when I enter again no sign of my activity ! Nowhere, no GC, no Garmin Connect Web, nothing ?

What is happening ? Anybody experienced this before ? Edge 1030 on latest firmware 9.10

P.S. My "strength" and "running" activities recorded with Garmin Vivoactive 3 seems to not be affected.

Did you try using the search function on the Activities page of Garmin Connect Web to look for it with the help of both the old and the new name? Did the new name include some special characters, for example…

I guess that, as me, you didn't used lately your Garmin outdoors, so GPS info "expired" at some time and was not refreshed.

Didn't you change the date by mistake, so that the activity just went out of the default focus? Anyway, the activities should be still on the device, in the folder \\GARMIN\Activities (you need to connect through the USB cable to the device)

No, I didn't changed anything except the name, I've done this hundreds of times.

The activity is showing in my Rides on Garmin 1030, with the 1030 connected to my phone I can hit "Upload ride", it says "Upload complete" but still nothing in GC.

Pfff... you are right, I've found it with the date of 7 January 2020, but I swear that I didn't change the time, for any of these 2 last rides.

Something is wrong with the date/time on the Garmin 1030, I can see it display a wrong time (I don't see the date or I don't know where to look), I suspect that it needs to get GPS data again and maybe it will fix this way ?

Yes, definitely, it should

You can also try shutting the device off, and starting again, just to be sure. Do it before the GPS aquisition.

Yes, the time is correct now after GPS acquired, I will check on the next indoor ride if the date is correct now.

I had the same today. Never had this before. It posted the ride from this morning to yesterday evening.... very odd
