The Calories spent in the app are shown as "Calories" but shouldnt that be kilo calories?

the distance of swim or running has a comma instead of a point.

when Iam swiming 5.000 meters, its shown as 5,000 meters. Just small but incorrect things, right?

greetings from austria

It is the same thing. From Wikipedia:

"For historical reasons, two main definitions of calorie are in wide use. The small calorie or gram calorie (usually denoted cal) is the amount of heat energy needed to raise the temperature of one gram of water by one degree Celsius (or one kelvin). [2][3] The large calorie, food calorie, or kilocalorie (Cal or kcal) is the amount of heat needed to cause the same increase in one kilogram of water"

    In other words:

    • Cal (uppercase C) = kilo calorie
    • cal (lowercase c) = calorie

So the Calorie used in GC refers indeed to kilo calorie (kcal). Personally, I'd prefer kJ, but that would be too much to ask.

Did you select the right number formatting in your User Settings in Garmin Connect?

Thanks a lot for the fast answer. Don't find where I could change something about the number formatting. Greetings from Vienna

You can do it in GC Web, in User Settings: https://connect.garmin.com/modern/settings

Not sure whether there is the same possibility on GC Mobile. Though, many parameters from GC Web apply to the Mobile app too, so perhaps it works for the number format, too. If not, you'll have to live with the US number format on the phone app.
