Notifications Garmin Fenix 5X

After the last update to my Huawei P30 Pro, the notifications to my Garming Fenix 5X are not working. I had to uninstall and reinstall the application Garmin Connect in order to work again. After that it is ok. But if the watch disconnect from the phone, then i have to do the same again.. This happened after every disconnection. As you can understand this is not customer experience. Please fix it or inform me how i can fix it by myself

    You tell the problems started after an update to your Huawei P30 Pro, did you try asking their support for help? If it is the update that broke it, it would be my first thought. You can aso try fixing the connectivity issues with something less violent than the complete reinstall of the application. Did you for example try simply tapping the Bluetooth icon in the status bar twice to disable and reenable it? Did you verify that the watch is paired with the phone, and connected? Did you verify the notification settings of your phone, and the permissions of the Connect appkication?

    Hello my Friend.

    Yes i tried everything. 

    You can understand that the Garmin App should adapt to Android changes... Not the Android to Garmin app

    Also, if you see in the forum.. I m not the only one with this problem.

  • Possible, but it is not the user community that can change the software. We are here to help each other, recommending available solutions. If you request a change from Garmin, please contact the support, not the user forums.

    Are Viber and Instagram notifications enabled in GC Settings » Smart Notifications?

    All notifications are enabled

  • GC Settings » App Permissions » SMS also ON? Eventually I'd try also rebooting the phone and the watch after the changes, just to be sure, before testing it again.

    No notifications are working. Only phone calls. Believe me i know all the settings and i tried everything. The only way to fix it is unistall and install again the app
