Vivo active 3

I cannot get my vivo active 3 to receive messages or phone calls. I have it paired with my phone, SMS on, and blue tooth enabled. Please help me!

  • On your phone open Garmin Connect.
Go to Settings, then App Permissions.
Make sure SMS, Contacts, and Phone are all "On."
If any are OFF, select Manage and enable the related permissions.

I've checked and everything is on! Im not sure what else to do.

I'm so frustrated! Thank you for your help.

  • Try rebooting the phone, and shutting down the watch, then putting it on. If it does not help, try removing the watch from Garmin Connect, and add it again.

Soooo...I've tried all your suggestions and it's still not communicating my messages or phone calls. Do you think my watch is defective? Everything else seems to work perfectly. Thanks again for all your help!

If the Bluetooth syncing works, then the culprit is certainly not the watch self. It might be caused by some settings of your phone. For transferring messages to the watch (besides all those already mentioned permissions) you only need a working Bluetooth connection between your phone and the watch. Make sure that for the testing, the watch is well in the reach of BT of the phone (by specifications less than 10m apart). For the testing I would also try preventing the phone going into the standby mode (dark screen), just to be sure your phone is not going into some power-saving mode shutting of the BT.
