Badge not received

Hi there

Please can someone let me know why I didn't receive badges for the early riser and strong finish when I completed both activities?

All were directly recorded into the app either via input (strong finisher) data transfer via MyFitnessPal (early riser)

How can I prevent this happening again?

After reading through the forum I have tried to edit the activity but that didn't work either

Seems like you should have. Maybe it needs to be a GPS activity?

I just went back to a walk I did a few days ago that was recorded via the watch and changed the time to before 7am.

This was rewarded with a badge..

Shame my new years eve activities won't by the looks of it

You do not get any badges for manually entered activities, or for activities transferred from 3rd parties. For recording a stationary bicycle activity, you simply configure it on your watch (a generic non-GPS activity), start it on the watch at the begining of the session and then stop it when you are done. No manual input in Garmin Connect is necessary.
