I have had trouble setting up Garmin Pay for my Venu.

Set up almost complete it asked for a code that was text to me from the card issuer.  I had to open the text to get the code but when I went to input the code I was sent back to the set up screen.  It now says that this card is already set up but my wallet says it's empty and I have no way to enter the code.  This card and bank supports Garmin Pay.
