Hi all. I bought a Garmin Edge Explore three days ago for me and my folding bike.

I have tried everything since buying it three days ago even stopping the app and restarting the device including my phone.  Blue tooth recognises the device and my phone shows it as paired but the device continues to look for it.  I have tried turning off blue tooth and use only GPS but still no joy!  any ideas?

  • Do not pair it with the phone's bluetooth pairing method. If you did already, then unpair it. Then start the Garmin Connect app and start the procedure for adding a new device, making sure that bluetooth is turned on on both the edge and your phone.

    Problem there is i still cant find the blur tooth app on the garmin! Its just not in settings. i get the icon up when its trying to locate my phone but thats all.

    The dealer i purchased it from has also tried to pair it with my phone and even tried their shops demo model to no joy.  He tried another Garmin model and it paired just fine.  How ever i will try your advice once my phone unpairs the first attempt to start again.
