Weight history disappeared

For iver a year and a half of weight loss - missing and disappeared from Garmin Connect history. Gone. I did not get a new device, did not change any settings. Just the updates from Garmin.

Is there any way to get that back??

  • I would first check that you can you see your weight history on the Garmin Connect web site-  https://connect.garmin.com/modern/, under health stats, Weight. If you can, then on your phone it could be that the date range is too narrow. You should be able to zoom out to the entire year view, then swipe to see past years. Verify you've selected "Weight" and not BMI, etc. If still no joy, you can try signing out (settings >> sign out). then signing back in, verifying it's the same account used on the web.

Did you ever find out what the problem was?

  • If you lost some history of any kind of data, then it quite likely means you are logged into another account than originally. Sign out, and sing in back with the original credentials.

To say "first,  check..." is arrogant.  This is a known issue. Of course we have looked at the online data depository where one syncs all Garmin app data - that is the entire point. Of course  we are not looking at the wrong label BMI - that is ignorant. Of course we have swiped to previous years - that is just ignoring the question. Of course  we are not looking at the wrong label BMI - that is ignorant.

This, fine readers, is an example of ignorance...and Garmin monitoring its forums to deflect known issue.

  • Did you come here to ask for help, or just to vent your frustration? In the first case, simply follow the advices given, in the second case it is fine, you did vented it.

This forum is a platform for mutual user help, so either you accept the help from other users, or you contact Garmin Support directly, but do not expect Garmin answering your questions here.
