Not sure what response you'd like to hear. If you want to hear the answer to the original question, where you can see the list of your favorite activities, then it is in Garmin Connect Web, more specifically on this page:
AFAIK, you cannot filter the favorite activities in Garmin Connect Mobile, though.
However, despite you telling that you have the same issue, it does not seem to me, that you spoke about the same thing. You still have to mark your favorite activities as favorites manually, since there is no way the application could know what activity you want to mark as favorite, and marking it for you automatically.
