In the past the Vivosmart HR+ used to lock GPS signal although took several minutes. However it can't pick up any single bar anymore since almost a year ago. I've tried stationary under the sky, or walking slowy. Nothing. No signal at all.
Recently I installed Garmin Express and found out from this forum about EPO.bin file. It was indeed empty. I sync with Garmin Express and confirmed it's there, but the problem still persist. Today I connected the watch to Garmin Express again, and the EPO.bin file is missing again! The only suspicion is the Garmin Connect removes the file when being sync-ed.
Any resolution for this? Such a bummer that a Garmin device fails on the GPS function, and the watch has been discontinued
