They lock language between Asia and America in any Garmin wearable devices, cannot display any Chinese, Japanese or any language in Asia if you bought it in the US .
Yop, that's the case for a long time. My VA3 is for EU west market, and thus, I cannot install the EU east languages. You can hack it on the device, tho, but that will be vanished at the next firmware update.
