my fenix 5 suddenly disconnected and cant pair it back. It wont give a bluetooth pairing code. Only the bluetooth mac address is displayed

The sync with the phone was lost and when I am trying to pair it back I notice that watch us not visible in the list of available devices while doing a device scan. Somehow the Garmin connect does pick it up but bluetooth mac address is shown(not the device name)

The pairing always fails because the watch never generates the pairing code that's needed.

Another thing you can try is going into the phone's BT settings, to the previously paired devices, then 'forget' (or 'delete') the Fenix 6s. After that you should be able to pair it again from within Garmin…

HI there! Can you try the following:

Open the Garmin Connect Mobile app,
Select the 3 BARS at the top left corner, then tap Garmin devices
Tap on the device name
Tap the 3 dots on the upper right-hand corner and select remove.
Open the Android phone settings
Look for app/application manager and select it
Tap on connect > storage > clear cache.
Power Phone completely down and then turn it back on
While phone is turning on, please put the device in pair mode by
Hold Up to enter the main menu
Select Settings
Select Phone
Select Pair Phone
Open the Garmin Connect mobile app and add device

It's probably due to an auto-update of Garmin Connect ~ 24 hours ago (4.39 now). Garmin-AmberD's procedure fixed it for me.

I've tried what Amber D suggested however when I select phone in the settings I'm not given an option to pair phone. The Bluetooth capability on my fenix 6s just seems to have vanished...
