Anyone having problem pairing Edge 1000 with google pixel 4?

Anyone having problem pairing Edge 1000 with google pixel 4 with Garmin Connect.

Tried all the tricks I know - clearing cache - forget connect - restarting both devices but no avail.

No issue with other phone - HTC, Pixel 2 or Iphone.

    I was having the same problem with pairing the EDGE 1000 with Google pixel 4. What I had to do to fix the problem was remove the 1000 from the Garmin Connect App on the phone and then add new device and select it again, after that everything worked fine. Remember to forget the 1000 in the bluetooth settings on the phone before you start this. Hope this helps.

    Unfortunately, it doesn't. This incompatibility has been an issue since the Pixel 3. I have the Pixel 4a and they still don't seem to get along. I don't know why.

    I also have the pixel 4a and a Garmin edge 1000 but cannot get them to pair. I have removed the 1000 from Garmin connect and added new device several times. The  6 digit code is recognised by the phone but 1000 just sits there waiting for phone to be connected. No code is displayed on 1000 which it did when pairing my old phone. 

    I have tried the other suggestions on the web including turning both devices off, turning off wi-fi and Bluetooth before turning it back on. I have tried to pair through the phone settings menu and from within the connect app. I have tried all sorts of different combinations but still no luck. Getting very frustrated now. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

    I have Pixel 4 and all of a sudden I'm having problems connecting. This is a problem with my Edge 520 and my Forerunner 45.  Both devices kept disconnecting and reconnecting  to phone. I deleted both, now I can't reconnect the Edge 520. Very, very frustrating

    I have an Edge 810 and a Pixel 5. All was working fine until a few months ago. Now they don't connect. I too have done all the 'Forget phone/device, turn off wifi, turn off bluetooth & restart both'. I get a code generated on the 810. I ask phone to pair. Then despite all this, no connection.

    I never did sort out the connection problem. I could connect either the Edge 520 or the Forerunner 45, but never both successfully. In the end I dug out an old phone from the bits and bobs draw and I set that up for the Edge 520 and used the Forerunner exclusively on the Pixel. A pragmatic. If not dynamic resolution.

    Now you've made me wonder if having a Garmin vivoactive3 and the Garmin Edge 810 trying to connect to the Pixel5 at the same time is the problem....
