Sleeping data

Hi,

I have a Garmin vivoactive 3 watch and i followed the instruction to get my sleep recorded but it doesn't work. I'll need some help here to get my sleeping data published also correctly on my garmin dashboard.

Could someone please help me?

Thanks a lot and have a great day!

    • I have the same problem with my 235 watch. Also, the date that watch shows is wrong.
  • As for the wrong date - as soon as you start an outdoor activity using GPS (like running, walking, biking, open water swim), the date/time will synchronize with GPS, so will be very exact.

As for the sleep data - make sure your watch is paired and registered in Garmin Connect, that all permissions in settings and in GC user privacy settings are enabled (especially data storing/processing and device uploads), and that your watch synchronises properly. In case of problems you can also try rebooting (sopping/starting) both your phone and the watch.

I tried but it does not work unfortunately. All were set and working properly until a few days ago. No setting has changed but some functions as time, sleep data is wrong.

  • but some functions as time, sleep data is wrong.

Are you telling the watch shows the wrong time even after turning it off and on, and after starting an outdoor activity, and waiting till the GPS status shows the check-sign? That does not sound quite credibly. If that is really the case, I'd contact the support, but I have really hard time believing that the watch could show GPS OK, while still displaying wrong time.
