Losing phone connection

Since new vivoactive 3 music software update, when the phone goes out of range the device or connection is lost, the vivoactive fails to connect again after phone is back in range. Even if I restart bluetooth on the phone and vivoactive the phone doesn't connect. The only way to get connection is to pair devices again which is unsustainable and makes the device unusable.

    Bonjour,

J'ai le même problème avec une vivosport et un Huawei mate20 pro.

    Quelqu'un aurait-il une solution ?

Me too since I got the Galaxy Note 10+.

    Any answers from Garmin?

Glad to hear I'm not the only one. I've stopped pairing a few days ago so now it's just a watch instead of a smartwatch.

Which android version are you running? I've got a PocoPhone F1 with Android 9.

And has anyone contacted support yet?

Clear the Garmin Connect app's cache and storage (you'll loose everything that is stored in the app, so first sync data!) and then restart the application.
I had such an issue a few years ago, something was stuck in the app and the only solution was to clean it up.

Hi, thanks for the tip, but unfortunately this didn't work.
