Frequent disconnects bluetooth with GC android version 4.25.1

Last November 18 I updated GC Android to version 4.25.1. appeared in Play Store.

Since that day, both my FR645 (v6.40) and my Edge 820 (v12.10) unexpectedly disconnect from the bluetooth.

To recover the connection, sometimes it is enough to deactivate and reactivate the bluetooth of the phone, and sometimes it requires turning off and on again the Garmin device.

Any help available to fix it?

    Hi,

I'm experiencing the same problem with my Forerunner 245. Turning off and on the Bluetooth or my watch doesn't solve it. I have to completely restart my Android phone to reconnect the watch with Garmin Connect app.

  • Similar prblem here with FR 945 and GC Android on a Huawei P30pro. What's always helping (me) is to turn on airplane mode for a moment. After turning it off, FR 945 is connecting immediately.  Disabling and enabling bluetooth isn't working for me.

  • Same here (VA3, Oppo A9) once, sometimes twice a day. Turning BT off and on on my phone works, but is annoying, especially because no signal is given the connection is broken..
