I have misplaced / lost my Garmin dynamics running pod within my house.

In an effort to find my misplaced / lost Garmin dynamics running pod within my house I'm wondering if the pod will connect to my Garmin watch if I set it to Run mode as I wonder around the house.

I looked up the documentation which only seems to mention the connectivity range for *pairing* the pod.

Is anyone willing to do a test to determine the minimum proximity the pod needs to be within, to connect?

I have the Garmin forerunner 945 and only got three runs done before it went missing in the house. Strongly suspect my young kids had something to do with it.

Any help really appreciated.

when i am in a different room (5 meters) with closed doors, my FR945 is able to connect to my Stry Pod, so it depends on how many rooms you have to search and how many things you have arround in this rooms

it is not possible because it has to move to be activated

OK, my Stryd can found without move them and HRM Run without wear them

For stryd ok but for hrm Run is not possible without wearing it
