Garmin doesn't stay connected with the Connect app on my Huawei Smart Plus 2019

Hi,

The last days my Fenix 5s plus doesn't stay connected with the Connect app on above mentioned Huawei phone.

When I started to use my phone I read all the tips and tricks on this forum and I used it. My phone and watch did what they were supposed to do.

But now... not possible to get it connected without restarting my phone and watch.

Can anyone help me out?

I have the same problem, and it has been going on forever, both on fenix 5 and then after upgrading to fenix 6, i  have a huawei p30 pro

If Garmin is blaming Huawei (or any other phone manufacturer for that reason) Garmin need to resolve this with Huawei. They can not only tell this to individual users. Garmin sells a very expensive device stating that it works with Android. They can not blame one of the biggest phone producer in the world. If the fenix accessorie is not compatible with certain phones Garmin need to step up and refund us.

Or better yet, fix this stupid bug.

The problem is Garmins problem, not us as users of a device that is a phone accessory, dependent on a phone to actually work as intended.

    +1

  • Check your phone permisions, and especially those for the lock screen. Some phones, when going into the lock screen, tend to cut the communcation to all applications, except those expicitely enabled.

Idem.

  • T'as regardé les discussions listées à droite ?
