Double Garmin Connect notifications

So any notifications I get from the connect app, challenge requests, if someone is beating me, last day of challenges, challenges starting tomorrow, they all come twice. They never used too, but started to a few weeks ago, and it's driving me nuts. How do I fix it?

I have Forerunner 645 Music.

I have the same issue!

I guess it is totally linked to the integration of the Garmin connect app into my Android phone.

But I must admit also that I have a 645 music watch, like Line...

Hope Garmin know the issue and will find quickly a fix.

Same issue on a 935.....although I suspect it's more of an app issue as I get two notifications land in the Android app rather than just the same one pushed to my watch twice.

So far it only appears to be Challenge notifications - which I've only just started using.

Kind of annoying. Would be good to see some acknowledgment from Garmin

Not really the answer you may seek if you want to keep one of the duplicate Challenge notifications, but if you do not mind not being notified about starting or ending challenges at all, you can disabe them in Android Settings >> Notifications >> Connect >> Challenges. I did not test it, but it is possible that one of the dupes comes from Challenges and the other one from Connections. You may try experimenting with it.

I am running into the same issue right now... I have a Garmin Fenix 6 Pro and a Garmin Edge 530, I am getting the push notifications twice on my iPhone. Any solution on this?
