Hi, I have seen some similar posts but this one might be a compiled post. I was happy to see that Garmin developers thought of this but rushed deleting the app that I was using. I then realized that it is missing some very important functionality. Please add your own requests, here is what I think is essential for a minimum viable product.
1) Setting the goal dynamically based on the workout the watch recorded. At least in the very short term, we should be able to manually set this.
2) Give us more options than 3. It should be by fluid type and volume. Users shortlist should be saved. I.e. John does not drink alcohol but I do and I may want to record the number of cans of beer I drink. It could be by fl oz or ml. I personally am on the metric system.
3) Very important: We need timestamps and I would like to get a notification every time I forget to drink. This is important because I have a medical condition and my doctor told me to drink so often and constantly be hydrated. I cannot tell the last time I drank. And there is no notification.
4) It would be nice to be able to break the water/fluid consumption by type and time period as a report.
