My Day has disappeared from the app?

Hello,

"My Day" has disappeared from my Android app.  It was working fine, then one morning My Day had disappeared completely.  The previous night, I had installed the Garmin Express app on my Mac to try and change some watch face settings and it seems to have happened since then. As far as I know, it just did two large map updates.

Can anyone tell me how to get this back?  I don't even have the tab for it now.  I have uninstalled, and reinstalled and also logged out and back in.

Any help, much appreciated, cheers Slight smile

    Hi,

Which "My Day" do you mean, where it was exactly? If that was a card on the main screen, just scroll down to the bottom on the main screen, tap on "Edit My Day" and add the card you are missing.

Thanks.  Someone on another thread told me it was called "my day".  When you open the app up, the page that it goes to by default, which has a colourful daily summary of all your main stats, such as heart rate, steps, weight.  It is the daily summary page that I'm missing.

If I scoll down to the bottom and edit tabs, the health stats page is what I would have thought it would be, but when I add that, it's just a plain text page where i have to click on each item to see any info.  The screen that i'm missing was a general summary, very colourful with lots of info at a glance.

That's odd. Ok, let's give it a try: open the GCM app, then minimize that, go to your phone's settings, there choose Apps and Notifications, choose the Garmin Connect app, choose Storage, there clear Cache and Storage. Restart the phone.

Note that it may vary based on your device's manufacturer and so on, but the main point is to clear the cache and storage of GCM. Then, restart the app, having a clear status. You need to log in and re-add your watch to the app after this procedure.

Thanks Peter.  OK, I have done that, but it is still the same.  I have also uninstalled, reinstalled (last night), logged out, back in.  Still no luck.  It was working fine until I logged into the Garmin Express app on my mac.  All I did on that was change settings on a watch face and it updated maps.

That shouldn't effect the Garmin Connect app on the phone. Can you send a screenshot about the main screen of GCM and about the "Edit My Day" section?

Thanks again!  There is no edit my day section.  Here are two screen shots, one of the main screen and one of the edit tabs setting:

Ahh, now it's clear, I was on the wrong track the whole time :D

Well, I think I found the fix for you. Search for "The My Day view is missing from the app" on the following link: My Day View.
