wake up during the nigh

I have noticed that if I wake up during the night it does not record that I am awake. do you know the reason?

If you don't move enough then Garmin Connect doesn't know that you're awake.

I don't think that's it. Infact, I went to the bathroom and vivoactive didn't record that I got up. Also, when I'm awake in the bed, my breathing and heartbeat changes. My old FitBit, 4 years old, records if I'm awake in the bed. I can't believe that the new VivoActive4 can't do the same as the FitBit.
