SO, watch was working flawlessly with my Samsung Galaxy S8. I was also able to add it into the trusted devices setting to enable smart lock.
I just got a new Huawei P30, and it wont let me add the watch as a bluetooth device, when I click on it in the bluetooth devices it pops up a message "go to the device to add". Because it wont add it as a bluetooth device, you cant add it as a trusted device. That means no smart lock feature, and the watch constantly drops in and out with the phone (especially if you power BT on and off). I can add the watch via the connect app no problem, but if the phone loses connection to the watch, I have to re-add it in the app EVERY TIME!
Does anyone else have this issue with a Huawei phone? How do I add it as a trusted device??
