Garmin Pay: Cards added and showed in app, but do not show on Vivoactive 3.

I have added two new credit cards to my Garmin Pay Wallet. Both cards were added successfully and show in the wallet on the app. But when I try to pay with the watch (vivoactive 3), I cannot select the cards.


I have verified that the cards are compatible with Garmin Pay (I have even received a confirmation email of registration from the credit card provider), I restarted the watch and my phone multiple times and also synced multiple times.

I have registered another card a year ago and this one works fine. However the new cards simply won't show up on my watch.

Has anyone had a similar issue and could fix it? Any suggestions on how to solve this?
