    *New Update*

    I had to remove the device from Garmin Connect and Bluetooth and add the device again. That seems to have fixed my issues so far.

    *Update* I tried uninstalling the Garmin Connect from the phone and reinstalling. I get smart notifications on my watch but no current data on the phone. I only have last week summary now, which still has no data updated since Sept 21.*

    In the last few days I got the 4.23 update as well as Android 10 update. The Garmin Connect on my PC says it was last synced 9.59am September 21, which is the last time I have data for stress score on my phone. Sleep data is also lacking since the 21st. I have synced from the phone and have confirmed that it has the 4.23 version. I have a Vivoactive 3 and a Pixel XL. I have tried restarting the watch and phone multiple times. Same issue. No stress score and no sleep data since the 21st. On a side note, it took me two times but I was able to replace a wallet icon on my watch menu with a sync icon from the Garmin Connect app on the PC. It said to sync my phone, which I did, and now the sync icon is on my watch as it should be. However the Garmin Connect on the computer still says last synced Sept 21. The computer app says it is up to date with version 6.90.

    I uninstalled the app and downloaded version 4.22.1 from APKmirror. That version works fine. Unfortunately, I had to disable automatic app updates completely to prevent the update to the broken version

  • I also find this version very laggy and quite hesitant when scrolling up and down

    Since the update to v4.23, no daily data is being recorded in the Connect app. My Vivofit 4 will sync as normal, so today's current step total shows on the main screen, but the steps aren't being recorded in the "step details" screen (just a "no data available" message).  No sleep data is being recorded, either. I've tried removing and re-adding the V4, and uninstalling and reinstalling the Connect app, but no joy. Frustratingly, it also means my daily step totals aren't being passed on to my Vitality account, so I'm not getting the points & rewards from that, either.

  • Constant crashes on Android 10.

  • Thanks for the instructions.  I just did this.  Now I just have to remember NOT to update Garmin (but update other apps) until things are resolved.

    I have difficulties pairing my Garmin forerunner 945 with garmin connect even if I have clear the data from bluetooth. Restart phone,watch, deleted n updated the app etc. Pleass help
