Import from samsung health

Is it possible to import my years of data from Samsung Health into Garmin Connect? I just ordered my Forerunner 945 and I want to move entirely to garmin since I am also switching phones.

I gave up a long time ago and just moved on. I'm going to say the answer is no.

I haven't tried this, however, they both have Strava sync capability in common, so you may be able to do it in two hops?

Garmin Connect does not sync data from Strava. The data flow is unidirectional in the opposite way. On the other hand, there is the import function in Garmin Connect Web, so as long as you are able to export the data from Samsung Health in one of the supportef file formats, you can import them there.

And there are also 3rd party apps capable of syncing Garmin Connect and Samsung Health (and other apps and services as well). For example the Health Sync App.
