I cannot connect my Garmin to my Lose It app

I just downloaded the ""Lose It" app to my phone. It says it can transfer the data from my Garmin. But when I hook to the apps section in Garmin, the Loose It app isn't listed sho I cannot connect the two. How fo I connect these two apps?
