app measures strength training in time rather than by type?

For the last several months, choosing strength training allowed me to see the individual types of exercises (and the quantity completed over 7d/4w/12m - for example, if I logged 100 reps of deadliftts ten times over 6 weeks, it would show me the quantitative total, which helps to see how I'm coming along) -- now, all I see is "gym and fitness equipment" and the total TIME, not individual exercises (which were also available through a dropdown menu under strength training - so I could see the different types of exercises as well as quantity and volume). 

I think this may have changed with 4.22.1, but I'm not sure -- did I perhaps change something, that I can change back?

Also, is it possible to alter the list of activities in the activities list on the app (i.e., I'd like to include hiking instead of swimming).
