Why can't i choose walk as an activity on my 735

I can not choose walk as anakivity on my forerunner 735xt. This seems very steange to me. I can choose SUP but not Walk??? Im sure more people walk than use a SUP...

It must be possible somehow i hope.

Now i have to set it as a run, and when im done and the activity is saved, i have to change it to walk in the app.

You can add a new activity and just call it Walk. Then you would be able to select it as an activity

But this way it won't be recorded as a "walk" and that's the whole point, I guess.

Under settings - activity profiler you can add your own activity profiles.

Then they will show up the way you like it.

No. The FR735XT does not have a "Walk" profile. And if you add another profile, for example "Other", and just call it walk, then in Garmin Connect it will still be "Other".

You are right and it is super annoying. How can they not have WALK as an activity. :-(
