Fenix 6X won't connect to Android app but can connect to iOS app

Just got the Fenix 6X Sapphire. After multiple resets, uninstalls of the app, etc...the watch still won't connect to my phone. I just tried connecting it to my iPad and it instantly connected. My vivoactive 3 music has no problems connecting to my phone. Does anyone have any fixes?
