I am using the Connect on Android. I have a Forerunner 935 and an Instinct, both linked to the same Garmin Connect account. If I only add Garmin Instinct to the Connect App, I can sync all the workouts in my calendar and they show up on the Instinct. However, as soon as I also pair Forerunner 935 to the Connect App, the calendar can only be synced to it and does not appear on Instinct. In the 'View Compatible Device' option under the Calendar tab, the Instinct now appears under 'Not Compatible' (See screenshot below).
However, if I again remove Forerunner 935 from the connect app, I can sync the calendar again to Instinct. This effectively means that when I have both devices linked to the app, only 935 gets the latest training plan in calendar. I often switch between the two watches and it is frustrating to not have the latest training calendar available on both devices!
