I got in upgrade on Garmin connect and now forerunner 220 isn't sync anymore on Android (Nexus 6p and Samsung A5 as well).
Glad to know that I'm not alone with my ForeRunner 220. Garmin Connect will 'connect' with the device, the bluetooth is working on my phone and tablet. So I know its not a connection problem per se. But it won't complete the 
sync and the 'Setting up device....' goes on and on, eventually disconnecting and trying again.
