Vivofit 3 don't sync

Hello!

I have added my Vivofit 3 as 2. device, but it wont sync with Garmin Connect (Android).
I have had it as second device before, but now it wont work.

Earlier i used my Vivofit at work, and my Vivoactive when not at work, and with TrueUp it worked flawless. Just a single sync after work, and both Vivofit, Vivoactive and the app had all the same numbers.

But now, when i try to sync my Vivofit, the app is syncing and end with "sync. complete", but nothing happens. It doesnt sync steps, neither to phone or Vivofit. The only thing that works is changing the watchface, nothings else.

I have tried it on my phone, another phone and my tablet - same results on all devices. Is Vivofit 3 not connectable with Garmin Connect anymore?!?

  • I am having the same issue, I have recently got a vivofit 3 to use in conjunction with my vivoactive music 3.

    I cannot get the steps earned on the vivofit to synchronise despite the device being paired in GC. The other issue I have is that I get a failure message if I try to change the vivofit as the preferred activity tracker.

    I have tried resets of the watch, the app & rebooted my phone - all of which have made no difference.

    I have reached out to Garmin and await a reply.

  • This now appears to be working for me - not sure if Garmin have done something, as not received any confirmation.
