Treadmill Run Not Showing Up as Running Activity in Garmin Connect

I am using Garmin Vivoactive 3 and the Garmin Connect Mobile App in my Android phone.  Recently, i recorded a treadmill run as part of my Garmin Coach Running Plan, which I am sure I had saved the activity because it is showing up in my watch as the last sport done.

However, when i check my Garmin Connect Mobile App, this treadmill run activity is not showing up as an activity. It has been counted as part of my daily steps, but not as part of my running activities. As a result, the workout scheduled for that day in my Garmin Coach Training Plan is marked as INCOMPLETE.

Is there any way to fix this in the app?

  • Most likely the activity did not upload at all to Garmin Connect for some reason. Usually this means that the activity file is corrupt and Garmin Connect does not accept it. Try connecting your watch to a computer and importing the file manually, or post it here so that perhaps someone can have a look at it and fix it.

  • I’ve just had exactly the same issue. Did you resolve it?

    hi,

Most likely the activity did not upload at all to Garmin Connect for some reason. Usually this means that the activity file is corrupt and Garmin Connect does not accept it. what was the result you got ?

when it failed you can read on...

run your fit file (in the activity folder on your device) through Fit File Tool's section remover (without any removing)

import this fit file manual from within Garmin Connect Web

    when this fails

with your consent we can have a look at your file with FitFileRepairTool

zip the original fit file and upload here in the forum

or provide a link to it on a cloud storage

    happy & safe sporting
